Biography
Jen Shuber is a Canadian director and choreographer. She has worked for the Stratford Festival, Soulpepper, Cirque Du Soleil, Tarragon, New York Fringe, Great Canadian Theatre Company, Buddies In Bad Times, Theatre By The Bay and many more.
After an early start at The National Ballet of School of Canada Jen went on to receive her BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts followed by a Shakespeare certificate from London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.

In 2009 Jen was nominated for the Mike Ockrent Theatre Directing Fellowship and in 2010 she was nominated again for the same award. The Fellowship is sponsored by the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation in New York to a new generation of gifted young directors.
Jen is currently on the Board of Directors of Canadian Friends of Interlochen. Interlochen is the first and foremost fine arts boarding high school and summer camp in the USA. Their alumni have had a global impact on the arts. Jen is also an alumnus. www.Interlochen.org
